What is the first thing internet marketing newbies do inorder to make money online ?

I was once a newbie and practically had no idea what to do when all the gurus around me were making tons of money. I said to myself, I must explore the internet more intensively and help all the fresh, green & vulnerable newbies just like myself.

For example i have failed in 4 other opportunities on the net but when i finally ran into the right guys i started having success. The best thing i can say is just look at a lot of programs and you will start to educate your self and get a feel for what will work for you.
